Total numbers of permanent labor in factory: 355
Total number of daily wagers in factory: 750

Non case filer in daily wagers: 492
Back ground of movement of daily wagers in Nestle factory:
Before many years daily wagers of Nestle factory Kabirwala started their movement for permanent status.CBA Employees union nestle factory kabirwala showed their support for this movement. During this movement President CBA Muhammad Husain bhutty demanded from daily wagers to pay Rs15000 each for case file in labor court and Rs500 monthly in fund. Only 258 could pay this but other 492 could not pay this amount. Later some office holders of CBA employees union including general secretary Khalid bhutty, dupty general secretary Shkoor Arain,Senior vice president RANA MUHAMMAD ADREES,vice president Abdul ghafoor, vice chairman hafiz waqar came to know that CBA president Muhammad Husain bhutty looted the total collected money from daily wagers of Nestle factory kabirwala. These office holders demanded from Muhammad Husain bhutty President CBA to present a balance sheet about that and to clear himself from that allegation. But he refused to do so. Another proof of his corruption came in know when these office holders received copy of agreement about increment for permanent labor in nestle factory and copy of letter issued by management of the factory. Management and CBA President both ate four month increment and realized increment in Jan 2011 instead of Sept 2012.To know that above mentioned office holders of CBA decided to withdraw their support for President CBA and to reveal all this to daily wagers and permanent employees of factory. On other side President CBA Muhammad Husain bhutty started to differentiate between case filer daily wagers and non case filer daily wagers. Daily wagers felt discrimination. Muhammad Husain bhutty pressurized management that only case filer should consider for permanent status and ignored non case filer daily wagers. Some news were received that Muhammad Husain bhutty and factory management is negotiating for permanent status for only case filer daily wagers. After these news daily wagers decided to set up a new alliance named “labor alliance Nestle factory Kabirwala” and started their struggle for permanent status. Management tried to stop this movement again and Human resource manager Captain R Sajid mukhtar disallowed President Labor action committee Anjum Shehzad gill to enter in factory and after protest and struggle he was allowed to enter in the factory.
Demands of Labor Alliance Nestle Factory kabirwala:
1-Give the permanent status all daily wagers in factory.
2-do not distinguish between case filer and non case filer in daily wagers.
3-WPPF should give only those daily wagers who worked 180 days in a year.
4-Factory management should not negotiate with CBA President only who do not represent majority of daily wagers in factory but should include real representatives of daily wagers in factory.
5-local leaders of IUFC have not played fair role and majority of daily wager still felt that local leadership of IUFC is not non partial. They are only in contact with CBA president and did not contact to leaders of Labor Alliance in spite of giving them contact numbers and e-mail addresses of them. So daily wagers demand that IUFC should send a fact finding commission in nestle factory excluding those local leaders who did not play fair and transparent role.
Appeal ……………
We hope that labor organizations from all over the world will show their support and solidarity with our movement and they will pressurize international, national and factory management of Nestle to give permanent status for daily wagers in Nestle factory kabir wala.
